Google Pixel Watch 5 has appeared in recent leaks ahead of its expected debut, with high-resolution renders showing the smartwatch across several color finishes, refreshed band pairings and a new watch face. The images also point to two case sizes offered with both Wi-Fi and LTE variants. Reports suggest a modest price rise, Wear OS 7 software and a design that remains close to the prior generation ahead of the planned launch event next month.

High-resolution press renders shared via a site called The Tide Chart display the Pixel Watch 5 design and color range before the official reveal. The renders were posted in partnership with tipster Steve H. McFly known as OnLeaks. Four finishes appear in the images: Dark Anthracite with a black band, Natural Silver with a pale grey band, Pyrite with an olive band and Warm Gold with a coral band. Warm Gold is shown only on the 41mm model so far, while the 45mm version features the other three colors, though a 45mm Warm Gold option cannot be excluded.

The renders suggest only small visual updates, keeping the Pixel Watch 5 very close to the Pixel Watch 4. It keeps the domed display, side charging contacts and proprietary band attachment system rather than standard lugs. This means existing Pixel Watch bands should stay compatible. A new watch face appears with an analogue layout, wavy graphics and a Gemini shortcut button.

Both 41mm and 45mm sizes are expected in Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi plus LTE versions. The color pairings align with earlier retail listings. Four model numbers recently appeared in US Federal Communications Commission filings, indicating LTE support on some variants along with satellite emergency SOS, ultra-wideband and Wi-Fi 6 across the range.

The leak also suggests a possible price increase of about $50 over the last model. Earlier details point to the 41mm Wi-Fi version starting at $399, the 45mm Wi-Fi at $429, the 41mm LTE at $499 and the 45mm LTE at $529.

Earlier reports indicated the Pixel Watch 5 will launch with Wear OS 7 and include Google's unified Health app from the start. The latest information also mentions larger batteries and a wearable-focused Tensor processor, though those details remain unconfirmed. Retail leaks suggest pre-orders could open soon after the August 12 event, with devices reaching customers from August 20.
